I have set title template as %%title%% in Posts section of Yoast still my blog name is showing google results.
I want like this “Post Name” and not like “Post Name - Blog Name”.
Help needed. Thanks in advance.
Your Title settings are correct. Still, if it is showing then, I would suggest checking once source code of particular URL where you are noticing this problem.
Recently, I faced this problem with AMP pages.
Blog name is showing online in SERP results. When post is opened, it is not shown.
Yes, I got it. You are right.
There is nothing in source code. Yes, I have also implemented AMP. Is it causing problems?
I highly doubt on AMP plugin.
How did you solve your problem?
So far, I have not fixed that issue. But I found that in AMP version title tag was wrong. It’s a plugin bug. I reported to its developer. I am still awaiting for their response.
Also can you suggest how to solve this problem of AMP pages appearing in desktop?
Also how to remove indexing of pages since it may seem duplicate content to Google?
Pages are already noindexed, it seems before it was in the index mode.
You can use Google Search console URL removal tool to deindex within 24 hours.
Okay thanks Gulshan. You always help so much. God bless you.
Also my blog name is “I M Tarun Singh” but in SERP, blog posts show like “Post Name - IM Tarun Singh”. There is no gap between I and M.
I migrated from Blogger to Wordpress in January. Do you think maybe this setting also migrated from blogger to wordpress?
