We start with an enthusiasm and later come to know there are many SEO rules in Blogging. One of the SEO rules is to have optimized images on all your blog posts. However, we might realize it later that not all images on our site are optimized.
We may install WP SMUSH or some other plugins. however, i have found that manually compressing images and hand picking each of them is much better and more highly optimized method.
Continuing with this thought, is there any way to check the size of all IMAGES in worpress? So if i have 1000 posts, and 2 images per post (2000 images) i want to find out which of those images are above 100 kb and might be adding more overheads to the download of the site. I want to compress those images to 50 kb so that the images are served faster.
Any code, plugin or method to do the same? Or do i copy the complete site locally and then find out each image individually?
Feedback will be appreciated.
