If optimizing isn't helping you, you can edit your code a little.
Have a backup of your functions.php file. Found in
wp-content > themes > [theme_name] > functions.php
functions.php file and now, search for
It should look like,
wp_enqueue_script( 'script-name', get_template_directory_uri() . '/js/example.js', array(), '1.0.0', false);
If you have something like this structure, you can change the value of the last parameter in the function (if it is false) to true. It means, loading the scripts in the footer (is set to true) and which solves your render blocking problem.
