Google is picking up a different sentence from the articles to show as meta description. Although, I have described it already on Yoast SEO but it does not show it. Any idea why? (My meta description is copy of the first paragraph from the article).
Google prefer answer tone more, normal sentence case, and what its algo find best and relevant as per search queries.
What you can do?Keep meta description unique, place focus keyword in the first line. Then you may see significant difference.
Meta should start with "Focus Keyword"............. Or it could be a normal sentence '....... (focus keyword). ?
I mean your focus keyword once must come clearly in the meta description.
It's better if you place your focus keyword at the beginning of the description.
Keyword in meta description doesn't matter. And Google picks a sentence from the post which suits the search query.
But if you have keyword in description then Google will show up the description to user searching.
Keywords are only for us and not for Google. I don't think Google considers keywords.
Google will consider keywords that match to user search phrase first.
Even I had the same issue, and I checked the web cache.
unfortunately it was not indexed on google.
You should write very unique Meta description so search engine love to show in SERP. Do not copy meta description from other website. Try to write in your own words. Your problem will be solved. I hope this help you
Try different description lengths, phrasing and positioning of your keywords, I think your sentence must start with your focus keyword.
